The NGO Committee on the Family will provide an opportunity for cultural exchange and community experience discussing family and culture in a holiday context. Committee members will be bringing holiday refreshments from their family and cultural traditions, and invitees who would like to do the same are invited to bring a treat to share as well.
Also Renate Kaczmarska, UN Focal Point on the Family, DESA, will open up discussion on ideas for the International Day of Families 2017. Please share your thoughts for this important event promoting the family in 2017.
